Greetings plant people and biophilic designers,
This month, thanks to our Supporters, we’ve been polishing up our presentations for Cultivate’21. The video-taped editions are “in the can” and we are turning our attention to putting the finishing touches on the workshop portion of the in-person experience on July 12 from 1:30 – 4:00. Hope to see you there! And if you can’t attend in person, hope you can catch the virtual presentations.
The theme of our Cultivate seminar is “Establishing Relationships with Building Specifiers” with a special focus on new construction. To support the concepts taught in the seminar, GPGB president and Natura CEO Mike Senneff is sharing with enrolled Supporters a couple of pages from his company’s sales training manual on new construction business. If you are a Supporter at the Copper level or above, and would like access to this information, shoot us an email, we’ll confirm your status, and send you a link to the training pages.
We’ve also posted a new #StayPlanted infographic, Indoor Plants Impacting Your Workplace.
#StayPlanted is an interiorscape industry campaign launched at the start of COVID-19. It brought attention to the beneficial role indoor plants play for those who are sheltering in place and those still at work.
The #StayPlanted message was embraced by many. People flocked to plant retailers and acted upon the attraction to nature that is hard-wired into each of us. They became plant parents and began transforming their homes into horticultural oases. Now employees are returning to their workplaces and employers are looking for ways to increase their team members’ comfort and safety. Indoor nature provides one solution.
Research data and information is one of the tools most requested by the building specifiers who responded to GPGB’s recent survey. The research statistics in this new infographic are helping to grow the demand for indoor nature.
So please help us communicate the AWEsome benefits of nature in the workplace by downloading the infographic and sharing it widely.
Heck, take it to work and share it with human resources.
As always, we are grateful to our Supporters, who are responsible for GPGB’s accomplishments. We are honored by their consistent support of GPGB’s mission to accelerate the adoption of biophilic design.
If you are not already a Supporter, and if you are inspired by our mission, please consider joining your voice with ours.
#StayPlanted and Be Well,
